What is Al Jazeera Arabic?
Al Jazeera Arabic is the original news channel of Al Jazeera Media Network, launched from Doha in 1996. It provides continuous Arabic-language coverage of the Middle East and world affairs through live reporting, interviews, debate, investigations, documentaries, and current-affairs programmes.
The Arabic channel has a different editorial audience and programme lineup from Al Jazeera English. Tele24Seven therefore gives it a dedicated profile while linking both services through Qatar and News discovery paths.
